SaviQ

SaviQ Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026

SaviQ is a local-first personal information manager. This policy describes the Version 1 application represented by this repository. It will be reviewed before release and whenever SaviQ's features, providers, or data practices change.

Information stored and processed on your device

SaviQ stores imported documents, PDFs, images, screenshots, scans, notes, categories, tags, Starred state, and related metadata in its protected iOS app container. Apple Vision performs OCR on the device. Deterministic search, including its index and queries, runs on the device. Version 1 does not include SaviQ cloud document storage or synchronization, remote AI processing, advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party crash reporting.

SaviQ uses iOS Data Protection and Keychain services. Optional App Lock asks iOS to authenticate the device owner. SaviQ does not receive or store Face ID, Touch ID, or device-passcode data.

Information that may leave your device

Version 1 Premium and AI features are postponed. StoreKit purchase UI and remote AI processing are not active. SaviQ will update this policy and obtain any required consent before enabling a new off-device data flow.

Purpose and disclosure

Local information is processed to save, organize, protect, OCR, search, display, delete, and export the content you choose. Authentication information is processed only to provide and secure the optional account. SaviQ does not sell personal data and does not use vault content for advertising.

Current service providers are Apple platform services and Google Firebase Authentication. Their processing is governed by their applicable privacy terms.

Retention, deletion, and export

Local vault information remains until you delete an item, remove all applicable app data, or uninstall SaviQ. Item deletion removes the app's local original and related app data. It cannot remove copies you exported or copies retained in an Apple device backup. Removing the app normally removes its local container according to iOS behavior.

Signing out removes the local account session but preserves the local vault. Deleting an optional SaviQ account deletes the Firebase account identity after any required reauthentication; it does not silently delete local documents. Keychain session data is removed according to the supported sign-out and account-deletion flow. Account deletion is available from Settings > Account/Profile.

You can export supported documents and notes through their Share actions. SaviQ does not currently offer a single archive export of the entire vault.

Choices and consent

Using the local vault does not require an account. You may decline account creation, sign out, delete the remote account identity, disable App Lock, deny optional iOS permissions, or choose not to export information. SaviQ does not currently request consent for remote AI because remote AI is not present.

Children, security, and changes

SaviQ is not directed to children and does not knowingly design Version 1 to collect children's personal information. No security measure eliminates every risk; protect your device with an iOS passcode and keep iOS current.

Material policy changes will be published in the app and at SaviQ's public policy address with a revised effective date. Changes that introduce a new consent choice will be presented before the related processing begins.
